I just watched such a wonderful YouTube video titled, “How God Sees You.” It is so goooooood!!!!
Pastor Bill Johnson does such a great job describing through scripture, like Matthew 6:33: Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Romans Chapter 3: Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ; things present and things to come. 1 Corinthians says we have the present and the future. But we don’t have the past. Jesus purchased that and we don’t get it. It was bought. You would never sell a car to someone and find a key to it and go over to their house and take it for a ride!! Isn’t that awesome to know we can be forgiven for anything and then move on? Jesus bought it for our forgiveness. It is linked to us, our ongoing need for forgiveness as we forgive others.
We are royal in our inheritance and identity because of Christ! Pastor Bill uses the example of us sitting at the reading of the will for our inheritance from God:
And the Lawyer says, “you have inherited the earth.”
We say, “What, you mean all of the earth??”
Lawyer: “Yes!”
Lawyer continues, “Life and death belong to you.”
We say, “I didn’t know what to do with the world, now this. Yikes!”
Lawyer continues, “You have inherited everything in the heavenly kingdom of God and you can call on whatever God has in the Kingdom and use it.”
We say, “What, you mean everything??”
Lawyer: “Yes!”
We all know that if a rich uncle asked you to be at the reading of his will you would go and whatever was on that legal document you would receive if it was given to you! You wouldn’t doubt it or be denied that it was yours.
We are God’s children and we are in His Royal family. We have inheritance. We have Jesus. Every person is designed to reign well in life. Hallelujah!
The teaching on how God sees you is so worth the time to listen.
