Huge Slabs of Ice

Good morning,

Yesterday we had a cool thing happen with the ice going off the lake in our bay and pushing huge ice chunks up on shore. We took our one-year-old grandson, Beau, out to look at it and he pointed and jabbered looking at the water, ice, and grass. He was so amazed!! He probably doesn’t remember being on the water or seeing grass, not to mention ice that looked like huge slabs of stone. Isn’t nature so cool??

The ice held such interest to me. Thinking about water being fog or liquid, then so solid that cars drive on it, then warm air and wind breaks it up and blows these huge heavy slabs like feathers.

Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are three in one. So, complex, so strong, such union. The movie The Shack is finally made! That book did such a great job of explaining in fiction how the trinity is like a circle, not a chain. How all three are circling, not one above the other in a line. How they are in relationship with love, communication, all-knowing at all times.

We are so blessed with all that God has created and planned for. I posted a picture on Instagram of the mountains with the sun reflecting on them and I was sitting around the fire where I like to read my Bible in Colorado and I said, “Father, what can I write about this that says how amazing you are?” and I opened the Bible in Psalms and looked down and this was the scripture that was before my eyes: The HEAVENS declare the glory of God and the firmaments shows and proclaims His handiwork. (Psalm 19:1) So perfect! I said, “Thanks, well said!!”

You can talk to God about anything!! His word teaches you His personality. The more you go to Church and hear pastors talk about Him, TV, radio, books the more you find out that He is interested, has answers, wants to help, has provided the way for you to be forever, eternally with Him.

The Bible says to repent and ask Christ into your life. Repent means turn away from what you are doing and choose Christ! Turn away from not believing in God, His Son and the Holy Spirit. My friend was curious and asked me how do you know what to say to know you have asked Christ into your life so He knows you believe in Him? I told her this:

Your part is to simply believe and receive!

Pray out loud: Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Savior, I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!”

Then ask to receive the Holy Spirit. All you have to do is ask, believe, and receive!

Pray, “Father, I recognize my need for Your power to live this new life. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. By Faith, I receive it right now! Thank you for baptizing me! Holy Spirit, you are welcome in my life!”

If you have not been water-baptized as an adult, I highly recommend it. You don’t need to be water-baptized to ask Christ into your life, but oh it is an outward testimony that you are born again and washed clean and forever in God’s family. Best thing I ever did!!

 Love you, Teri
