Incomprehensible

Good morning,

Today’s teaching is on Grace. Man, did I need that! I had quite a scare on Monday afternoon with some signs of shingles. Shingles in my ear is what gave me Bell’s palsy. Just the thought of going through that again was hardly comprehensible. I went straight to the doctor at 6:00 p.m. and of course you have to wait in the room by yourself for about an hour, it feels like. Well, it gave me time to think about it and pray.

What I learned is that I know a lot about what the Bible says I have. I had scripture that I know by heart. I know in Bible Study we use Matthew 16:19 every time we pray for healing of our friends and loved ones; Matthew 16:19: I give you authority as a believer, the keys to the kingdom of heaven and whatever you bind on earth must be what is already bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.

I know what is already bound in heaven because Jesus paid the price for our healing with the strips they whipped on his back. Isaiah 53:5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities, the chastisement, peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes that wounded Him we are healed and made whole.

So, I took authority over shingles and bound it by the authority of Matthew 16:19 and I loosed perfect health, whether that included medication or not. And then a peace came over me and I didn’t put a name on it then, but the teaching today is exactly what it was. Grace!

In any situation if we will get alone and stop being afraid, use the scripture that God has already given us and remember what Jesus has done 2,000 years ago, everything we will ever need!!

We have to receive the present, open the ribbon on the box and take out the present and use it. Who would leave a new iPhone in the box??? The back of every Bible has topics and where to go in the Bible for whatever you need. Examples: diligence, discouragement, and despair; emotions, encouragement, and comfort; faith… all in alphabetical order.

Grace is our peace for any situation. God will give you what you need. Scripture will give you an action plan. Prayer will give you faith. Thankfully, I got on medicine immediately. All signs are gone of any problem and I have a renewed reminder that life is full of stuff– no one gets a perfect life so take every day as a gift and start it with God, His son Jesus Christ, and the wonderful Holy Spirit. Give thanks and glory to all you have because you didn’t get anywhere that didn’t start with a gift and talent from God and all can be changed in a second. What we have are choices. We can choose to believe in Jesus as our savior or not. We can adhere to Him. Trust in Him. Rely on Him and know Grace will be supplied no matter what we face.

Love you, Teri

By His Grace

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out His special favor on me–and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by His grace.
(1 Corinthians 15:10, NLT)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

In this day and age, many people are filled with worry about their future. They live stressed out, wondering “What’s going to happen if I get laid off?” “How am I going to handle it if my loved one doesn’t make it?” Or, “My parents are getting older. How can I take care of them and my own family as well?” Here is the answer: God’s grace is going to be there at every stage of your life to help you do whatever you need to do. God’s grace is what saves us, but that’s not all. His grace is His enabling power. His grace will give you the strength, wisdom, and favor to accomplish what you could not normally accomplish on your own. His grace is sufficient for whatever you need in your future.

If you’re in a difficult marriage, if you’re raising a child that’s hard, if you’re facing a sickness, one thing you can count on is that the grace of God will be there. Receive His grace today, by faith, and let Him empower you to walk through that difficulty into a place of supernatural victory in Jesus’ name!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for Your grace and mercy upon my life. Thank You for empowering me to rise above every obstacle I may face. Thank You for restoring my future and equipping me to move forward into the victory You have for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
