A Tree House

Good morning,

I was on my walk this morning and saw boards hammered into a tree like someone was going to build a tree house. It made me smile thinking about how much fun a tree house is! This one would be about 5 feet in the air. High enough to see from a different vantage point, play imaginary games, read a book, have a childhood headquarters, eat a picnic lunch or snack, you name it!

Most importantly a tree house gives you a kind of secret place that feels like yours–it’s safe and something about the sway of a tree brings comfort.

Of course this could segue into so many things about Jesus! I will pick safe.

He came that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him (John 3:17).

Holy buckets, there are a lot of things to fear in this life, but all of it changes when you know for eternity, even if you die, you will be forever in light because you believed in, adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Jesus! You have angels–they are like, 9 feet tall and have strength and abilities beyond ours. God says to talk to Him about anything, with prayer and thanksgiving! He says: DO NOT BE AFRAID. I AM!

Jesus gives us a secret place that feels like ours, safe and filled with comfort!
