Good morning,
My niece Rachel and her boyfriend of 8 years, Adam, got married last weekend. The joy at the wedding was undeniable!! A female, Christian-ordained minister married them! She was so filled with Holy Spirit and represented Jesus’s joy along with hers! She prayed over them, had them turn and wave at all the people they loved and wanted to witness their wedding. They exchanged the vows from the Bible. She laughed as the couple kissed. She had all of the people witnessing the wedding say the Lord’s Prayer out loud. She asked that what God had joined together, let nothing pull them apart. She was cheering with Rachel and Adam as they raised their hands in the air, smiling and walking back down the aisle. The minister was so enjoying her job.
I hope that all of us Christians are enjoying Jesus!
He came to be our closest friend. He is the bridegroom. We are the bride. He promises to love us in sickness and in health. He promises to love us in good time and in bad times. He promises to love us, richer or poorer. He is married to the church and that is all who have asked Him to be their Lord and savior.
He adores you and He adores me. Tell him how much goodness is in your life and thank Him for all the big and little things you can think of. Even the bad and hard things in our lives He will use for our good. Can’t tell you how many people tell of the treasures that came out of their trial or loss.
Enjoy Jesus! He doesn’t want your guilt or obligation. He wants your heart!
Love you, Teri
