Light and Carefree

Good morning,

Do you ever want to have the “Best Day Ever” and instead you get news that tanks it? We just found out our flooring was sold out from under our salesman and now it looks like three more months until it comes in again! So what do I do?

I always have a choice. I can speak positively or negatively and it will matter!

I can hope, believe, pray, and stay encouraged.

I can say, “They will find more somewhere in America! This will work out to my advantage somehow. I will invite Jesus into this situation and watch for the outcome in my favor. I will keep my joy and this too shall work out.”

I guard my joy and peace. I don’t give it away for anything! This takes staying connected to Jesus. Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

All our problems are big in our eyes. It could be your health, kids, finances, pain of loss, fear, isolation…a wood floor for Pete’s sake, you name it. We can overcome with a close personal relationship with Jesus. He gives us peace and comfort through Holy Spirit.

Our spirit should be light and carefree, not oppressed and heavy with burdens we are unable to bear. Our words are powerful, use them in agreement with God! He came to set us free and to give us righteousness, peace, and joy! Thank Him for helping you in any circumstance!
