Sidewalk Hopscotch

Good morning,

Do you feel the lift in your spirit this week? Is your joy and hope renewed? I’m not sure what it is, maybe fear is going away with all the vaccines, but people are reconnecting! I can feel it in the air. We are meant to care and think about others. Even the simple act of calling, going to dinner, anything that gets us out of our own stuff makes us happier.

Have you seen the commercial where a little girl is sitting out on her front step and people are just walking by in their own world, her included, as she is drawing sidewalk art by herself. She suddenly decides to make a hopscotch with her chalk art that is on the sidewalk where everyone is walking. Pretty soon everyone is doing her hopscotch as they go by and they smile, laugh and look at her. They don’t say anything just the joy she gave was accepted and interactive! She gave, they received and everyone had fun.

This is Christ filled living! Give something, because you thought of someone else. Receive, because you thought of someone else and by all means have fun!!!
