One Minute

Good morning,

In Minnesota, a very big deal is when the ice goes out from our lakes. The ice covered lake is very still, no movement and it turns gray. It takes warm weather but most of all wind to get rid of the ice. One minute you are looking at the gray and the next time you look out it is alive with movement, waves and color. The water looks blue again. Motion makes such a huge difference when you look at a body of water.

We are the same way!

Being ‘stuck’ is a term people use when their life is in trouble.

God designed us to always be growing, taking action, changing bad behavior, stepping out of our old life and moving forward into a new season. He gave us His word, the Bible. He gave us teachers and ministers. He gave us other believers. Most of all He gave us Holy Spirit.

If you have believed in Jesus, been water baptized but never said these words…”Jesus, baptize me in the Holy Spirit.” Say them! It will change you. You will be like the lake with the ice off. Now you can move and live with a helper, comforter, advocate and so much more!

John 14:16-19 “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever – the Spirit of truth The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see Me anymore, but you will see Me. Because I live, you also will live.”

John 14:26 “The advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”
