Rain and Rainbow

Good morning,

A week ago this morning, My wonderful Dad, Bob Blader went home to be with the Lord. As I walked outside it was lightly raining with a huge rainbow going from my front yard to my back yard. Wow, I have always loved the smell of fresh rain, I feel like it’s the fragrance God has. The rainbow is the sign of hope from God that everything will be ok. I have such comfort that my Dad knew Jesus, loved people and had hope in our eternal salvation in Heaven.

The awesome thing with God is that He does things like the rain and the rainbow this morning for His children. He wants me to be at peace and I am. He knows I’m a visual person and mercy that was an incredible visual today!!

Jesus, knows the funeral is this Thursday, the 29th of July and that our family and all who loved my Dad will be sad at the lose we feel but there is real joy and hope knowing that his spirit is alive and well in the presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We are going to use the scriptures from, Romans 5:1-5 that talks about how we are justified through what Christ did at the cross. We who believe have grace and faith. We get confident assurance of experiencing and enjoying glory of our great God with the manifestation of his great excellence and power. Even in the hardships we can be happy because we learn patient endurance and that leads to spiritual maturity and proven character and that gives us our hope and confidence of eternal salvation. Such hope in God’s promises never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the awesome Holy Spirit.

My Dad lived those scriptures. He was always experiencing and enjoying God’s glory. He was so positive and happy, you knew that came from hope and confidence in the power of God!

Bob loved life! He leaves a legacy of people smiling when they think of his gusto for Christ, family and friends. He was a treasure!

Love you, Teri
