Grace’s Story

Good morning,

My mom is in a nursing home by me and we go see her most mornings. Grace is one of the residents there and she shakes really bad and it makes it very hard to understand her when she talks.

Sunday morning she was at the table with us and I asked if everyone loved Jesus and that my sister was going to read a devotional out loud so everyone could hear. Grace put her shaking hand out and she was trying to tell me a story and I couldn’t understand at first so I looked right at her and really watched her and she was saying, ” Jesus took my hand and lead me down a path of gold. Off to my right I saw the most beautiful lake and sitting by it I saw the Lambs book of life open, but I wasn’t aloud to read it. Jesus was so loving and like a bright light and beautiful to look at. He told me to go back and tell people what I saw.”

I was like wow, that is awesome! I asked if she had a near death experience or something but said, “no, it was more like a vision.”

It is very hard for Grace to tell her testimony but she is doing it. It takes careful listening but if you take the time you see the story on her face. She knows that Jesus is real, loves her and the only way to spend eternity with Him is to have believed He is the Son of God, ask Him into your heart to forgive you and be your Savior, then your name too will be written in the Lambs book of life! The book that says you are my child enter into paradise.
