Delight in our Faith

Good morning,

It is almost Easter and spring is approaching fast. It is no surprise that Easter and spring are at the same time. New life happens. Jesus rising up is the pivotal point in what a christian believes. He said he would die and rise again on the third day. He did and is alive and sitting in heaven at the right hand of God. The Bible records 500 witness saw him in the forty days he walk on earth after His resurrection before He ascended into heaven.

The Bible was written by 40 men over 1500 years and the amount of predictions that came to pass is beyond impossible. Only God could have done this with the Bible.

So, if the Bible can be believed, Jesus really rose again from the dead to save us from our sin, diseases and destruction so that we can be holy and close to God….what are we living stressed out lives for? We are suppose to delight in our faith. Have Joy in every circumstance. Live knowing we are loved by the creator of the world who thinks each and everyone of us are wonderful and wants us to have healing, spiritual well-being and inner calm.

I heard a story about a little boy who had to have a bone marrow transplant and he needed to be isolated from germs that could kill him for five weeks in a special place all by himself. His father could look at him through the glass and put his arms in plastic gloves that stretched into the room and touch him but there was a barrier. After the five weeks were up the father was so excited to have the ability to hold and touch his child without any thing between them.

This is how God is when people don’t choose the free gift of grace, His Son to TRADE all the unrighteousness and sin and be completely righteous and holy. Once we are cleansed by Jesus, God can touch us without any barriers.

What is better than being completely held in Gods loving arms?? Thank you Jesus for making the way! I will forever delight in You!
