You Make Everything Beautiful

Good morning,

I watched the movie, ‘Unsung Hero’ over the weekend and it was so, so good! It is the story of a family with six kids, Mom is pregnant where the father is a music promoter and he lost all their money on a failed concert tour, moves all of them across the ocean from Australia to Nashville expecting a job when they land and finds out that fell through. The mom is the unsung hero. When they get to the rented house it is not very nice and has no furniture. She makes the kids beds out of their winter clothes under sheets and says regular beds are boring, these are adventure beds and anything is possible with these kinds of beds. She tells everyone that they are going to pray for everything they need. Her and Dad tell the truth to the kids that they don’t have any money and they are going to have to ask God to help them.

You watch the Mom hope, never mad at the Dad just helpful. She keeps a hopeful attitude and the church they find has wonderful people and the prayers are getting answered and the family is doing lawn service, cleaning houses and baby sitting as a way to make money. The Dad is really struggling with pride and defeat and such as you can imagine. The mom is seeing miracles along with the children.

The oldest daughter is probably 16 and she has an incredible voice. She ends up writing a song, ‘You Make Everything Beautiful’. It is such a fantastic song. Look it up on Youtube, Her name is Rebecca St. James. Her two younger brothers become singers also and they are the band, ‘For King and Country’.

What I was left with after the movie ended was all of us have pain and trials. But, with God if we will ask for patience, say prayers, keep our hope, let people help us, God makes things beautiful in His time. You can trust Him with your problems and have joy in your trial and pain. Only God can do that in a person. Invite Him in and He will love you and help you like nothing else.
