Good morning,
Do you ever go down a proverbial, rabbit hole? Our Bible study was reading in Matthew, chapter 24 and it is about the disciples asking Jesus what will be the sign of Your coming back and the end times. From there it sends you to the book of Daniel and you read about his vision of end times. Then to Revelation… All of it starts to feel upsetting for some and exciting for others. Daniel tells how he was very upset with his visions and he prays for God to send understanding and strength about what he saw because he didn’t understand. An angel, Gabriel comes to him and says, “O man, highly regarded and greatly beloved, do not be afraid. Peace be to you; take courage and be strong.
I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to have an angel appear ….and then he tells you that God highly regards you and greatly loves you! That would strengthen a person!
After watching the opening of the Olympics and watching what to me looked like many biblical comparisons that the devil was using to a world wide audience with the last supper, golden calf, sexual immorality and the pale rider with all the nations flags following after him on the horse; we should read again what is end times all about.
The main thing is there will be a time when the devil is done. God will reign with only those who choose to believe in His Son as their Savior and whose name is then written in the Lambs book of life. No sin will be allowed in heaven. The book will be open and our name must be in it. Only way it is in there is by the gift of believing in Jesus as your redeemer and asking Him into your life, not if we are good or bad. Believing and having a personal relationship with Christ.
Our part is to pray for those who do not know Christ to have a heart that is receptive, tell, show, demonstrate the love of Jesus. We are the hands and feet of Christ. Planting seeds of salvation is done through love and our testimony. The Bible is the Holy Words of God and what it says is; there is only one way to be with God for eternity and that is if you are forgiven of your sin. Jesus is the blood sacrifice that made the way.
To quote Billy Graham, “I have never known anyone to accept Christ’s redemption and later regret it.” When you know Christ, you get such a desire to tell people that they can know his love and forgiveness too!
Time to spread His message! There is nothing to fear with Jesus as your redeemer! Hallelujah!
Love you, Teri
