Lion of Judah

Good morning,

We just got back from a week in Lake Como, Italy and my goodness it is one of the most gorgeous places on earth. While there, I received the news that the pet scan was 100% clear. Praise Jesus the Lion of Judah! It was one full year from the news that I had bad cells in my endometrial lining and need a hysterectomy. I knew from the start He was my healer and all would be well, that I would have to go through the chemo and radiation but that was just semantics in my mind.

I stood on the fact that God wants me well and I agree with Him. “by His stripe you were healed” is the grace all receive from Jesus finished work, we receive it like a banquet of food on the table at a party…You sit down and take it, no one feeds you, that is up to you to enjoy the beautiful banquet before you. It is work to keep a positive mind set and not let fear or doubt in. The work is looking at Jesus each day and reading His word and resisting thoughts that do not help you. Surrounding yourself with Godly people and making the decision to relax and enjoy your life because God delights in you and wants to take care of you!

While driving around the little one lane road of the lake I noticed right when we pulled on to it there was a box camper right in front of our car with no window in the back but a full picture of a lion sitting on a rock high up on a mountain like the size of a single car garage door, huge! The lion looked very relaxed and his face was looking directly at us. I looked at it for a while and then I thought wow, If that isn’t a picture of the Lion of Judah, who is in the bible many times in reference to Jesus. I finally asked Charlie who was in front to video it for me and my Bible Study. We followed it for half an hour.

What I took away from that is Jesus is always in front of me working everything out in His time. He will never leave me, He is my protector, He is present even if I don’t see Him. He is glad I follow Him and that I can relax and let Him be God and I don’t have to be!!!!! All is well.

He died to give everyone grace. He is no respecter of persons. What He does for one He will do for anyone who asks, seeks and knocks.
