A Shift

Good morning,

I want to invite my Christian friends old and new to a conversation about such a time as this. A shift has happened and people young and old are wanting to know Who Jesus is and why should I find out about Him? What is in the Bible and can I just open it and read it?

Who is Jesus? If you have ever loved the smell of fresh bread baking in an oven then you know it evokes comfort and goodness. Jesus calls Himself “the Bread of life” in the book of John. The truth of Jesus is that he will save you, nourish you and comfort you and tell you how to build a life that is courageous and strong! He died, rose from the dead and lives. Those who taste His love want it everyday.

Why should I find out about Jesus? Because you are a Spirit, Soul and Body. Jesus comes to live in your body as soon as you invite Him. Your old spirit dies and you are completely new in spirit never will you be separated from God. The rest of you is transformed slowly with the reading of the Bible, going to church, learning who is inside you, learning God’s truth. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is living inside you!! What you learn is if your spirit and soul (your mind) agree then your body has to listen. Two against one! God loves math! Sickness and disease have no idea what is coming for it! Your mind/soul learns that hate is too big a burden, your soul craves Love. Jesus lavishly pours it into you!

Can I just open the Bible and read it? Yes you can! Open the Bible to John. It is easy to read and it will tell you the story of Jesus from a writer who calls himself, “the one God loves”. We each get to call ourselves, “the one God loves”!

There is a shift in the atmosphere and if each of us is to be bold and look around and see that people want to know truth. They want to know the comfort and help and love and hope that believers in Jesus have. You can do it! Keep it simple. Share what you know.

Love you, Teri

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He sent His one and only Son so that whosoever believes in Him shall be saved.

A simple prayer to ask Jesus into your life. Jesus come into my life and forgive me for my sins and help me everyday. If you prayed that prayer welcome to the family of God. Find a church, get baptized and know that you will never be separated from God for eternity.
