Unexpected Surprise

Good morning,

Do you like surprises? Some people live for them and other people do not like a surprise because it means they are out of control. I was in Switzerland last week and was at a restaurant and ordered a dessert that I thought was black forest cake. You know the one with chocolate cake, a layer of cherries, whip cream and then they repeat it several times until it is a beautiful layer cake slice. I have to tell you, I was so surprised when the plate set before me had a chocolate trunk of a tree standing up probable 6″ in the middle of the plate and the top of the tree was white cotton candy with a raspberry dusting, a forest floor of chocolate cookie crumbs, cherry sorbet and chunks of chocolate truffles!! it was not one dot what I had ever imagined was what I had ordered….It was 1000 times better!!

I believe eternity and heaven are going to be like that cake! What God has in store for those who have believed in His Son as Savior of their souls by the forgiveness of sin will be so surprised by the beauty, love, and presence of what Father, Son and Holy Spirit have prepared for us that we will hardly believe it is so good and nothing like we could even imagine!

God is love, good, creator and redeemer!! Let’s make heaven crowded, when people see by our example that Jesus is the best thing that we have ever invited into our lives. A relationship with Him is where our joy comes from and that it is all started when you believe and receive grace, a free gift that you open and enjoy forever! They will see it is better than they ever imagined!
