This is Lit!

Good morning,

I love that in Minnesota, with the time change, it is getting light by 6:45 in the morning. I love that you can feel that the season is about to change from winter to spring. The trees still look bare and lifeless, but the air feels different. I love that Easter lines up with Spring. Easter has a cold, lifeless beginning and turns into a new season for every person who believes that Jesus rose from the dead and changed everything!

I have a new season that I am going to start with the spiritual message board. I am going to put all the years of messages on a blog so people can access it even if they aren’t on my list. I think I will add a morning video of me reading it out loud with my coffee.  Scott, a Pastor friend of mine in Colorado, wrote me after reading one of these messages and told me how he loves knowing the person who writes the devo! He wrote that it is time to put these in a book. My Aunt Audrey wrote me the same day and said the same thing. Let’s start with a blog and then maybe a book of some of the “good ones.” It made me think maybe knowing me a bit more would help. Yikes, not sure how that will go. I write these pretty early and maybe I will just show my hands and side profile so makeup and wardrobe will not enter in, mercy! Mostly, I want people to know how Jesus is a part of my life every day.

Jesus loved us first! He likes everyone! He shows us every day that life with Him is good!

This Holy week I hope you renew, walk closer, observe more, your friendship with Jesus! I hope you open your hands as Pastor Joel told us on Palm Sunday and let Jesus use them in new ways to show people that your life with Christ in it is “LIT.” “Lit” is the new word kids use to describe something awesome!!  Jesus is the original Lit, light, bright, glowing, awesome brightness, to the world! You are lit and I am thankful for everyone who gets a closer look at Jesus through this message, through your message!  Let’s share the light this Easter. Eggs are good, but inner light is better!!

Have a wonderful day!

Love you, Teri
